Celtic close in on Wakaso Mubarak loan deal

CELTIC are close to securing Ghanaian World Cup star Wakaso Mubarak on loan from Russian side Rubin Kazan.

It’s understood the club are in talks with the Russian side over a one year loan deal for the £4 million rated winger, with an option to buy at the end of the season should Mubarek impress.

The Parkhead side are hoping to finalise the deal before Wednesday night’s Champions League qualifier with Maribor, however it is being reported that they will be unlikely to do so before tonight’s European deadline.
