The club recently announced they were unable to pay their players on time and they currently sit rock bottom of the English Championship.

Tension is clearly starting to creep in with manager Lennon and striker Gary Madine getting into an argument during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford.

After Lennon berated his player, Madine hit back with foul mouthed response. There is no audio in the clip caught on camera, but even those with skills in lip reading can see Madine calls his manager a ‘Scottish p****’.

It is not known whether the Northern Irishman heard the bewildering insult. However, with Christmas around the corner, he may wish to gift an atlas to the striker.

Madine would probably rather just have his wages.
