Brooklyn Beckham takes part in Chelsea youth session

DAVID BECKHAM caused the rumour mill to surge into overdrive after being spotted at Chelsea’s training ground earlier this week - but it emerged the former Real Madrid and Manchester United player was there to cheer on son Brooklyn.

The 13-year-old son of Beckham was on Galaxy’s books whilst David was playing for the MLS side, and took part in an under-14 session yesterday with the London club, along with Jack, son of TV chef and former Rangers youth player Gordon Ramsay.

David Beckham enthused about his son’s talent in 2006, saying: “Brooklyn is the most amazing footballer.

“He managed 17 keepie-uppies the other day which for a boy his age is incredible.

“He’s showing great potential. I’d love it if he played for England.”

Beckham himself is currently without a club after leaving LA Galaxy, and has been linked with a whole host of clubs in Europe, including several in England.

Bookies are offering various bets on Beckham junior’s future, with Ladbrokes offering 16/1 on Brooklyn signing for Chelsea before he’s 18, and 66/1 that he will one day captain England.
