BT Sport reveals the five Betfred Cup games it will show live

Five Betfred Cup group games will be shown live on BT Sport, two of them involving Hearts.

The first game to be screened will be Kilmarnock v St Mirren on Friday 13 July. Next up is Raith Rovers v Hearts on 21 July, with the game taking place at East Fife’s Bayview due to work at Stark’s Park.

Dundee v Dunfermline on 22 July is also live, as is Clyde v Motherwell on 28 July and Hearts’ v Inverness Caledonian Thistle the following day.

Almost there. St Mirren need just a point from their Tuesday night meeting with Dundee Utd at Tannadice to confirm their promotion as Championship title winners. For long stages yesterday it looked as though their old rivals Morton were going to allow the starting gun to be fired on their celebrations as they fought gamely to deny Livingston a victory that keeps the outcome of who is crowned champions still at least mathematically in doubt.

Morton 2 - 0 Brechin: City relegated after defeat

There was a compelling case here for the visitors to be playing in a different division next season, but the same could not be said for the hosts. Brechin, without a win in 29 fixtures, had their relegation confirmed after their 25th defeat and their failings were once again all too evident.
