Berwick avoid Steven Noble mix-up

PETERHEAD’S Steven Noble heads for Berwick this weekend delighted that the Shielfield club know that he is not their league-winning Steven Noble.

The 24 year old Blue Toon player explained: “There are two Steven Nobles both aged 24 and it was the other Steven Noble that won the Third Division with Berwick in 2007. A lot of match programmes and other reports have me down as playing for them but it wasn’t me and thankfully Berwick will know that.”

Noble added “I do not know him or even where he is playing nowadays.”
