Anorak: Home in on Tractor Boys

IF YOU forgive Ipswich Town for the 3-0 defeat at Brighton last week – where Scotland striker Craig Mackail-Smith was among the goalscorers – the 23-20 with Hills and Ladbrokes looks a great price for them to beat Bristol City at home today.

In recent games Ipswich have beaten top-three sides West Ham United 5-1 and Cardiff City 3-0 at Portman Road. Derek McInnes’s Robins, on the other hand, look in trouble and have found goals hard to come by since the sale of Nicky Maynard to West Ham. McInnes has a host of Scots in his squad – Jamie McAllister, Richard Foster, Stephen McManus, Stephen Pearson and David Clarkson – but I’m not expecting them to fire today.

Also recommended are Brighton at Doncaster (6-4 Corals), Charlton at 13-8 with Betvictor to win at Bournemouth, and Crystal Palace at evens to beat Peterborough.
