Aberdeen duo win SPFL awards for February
DONS manager Derek McInnes has been named as the SPFL Premiership Manager of the Month, with striker Adam Rooney named Player of the Month for February.
McInnes’ side won four out of five games in February, and ended Celtic’s undefeated run in the Premiership.
Rooney scored in all three of the Dons’ Premiership matches in February, and hit the back of the net in their League Cup semi-final win against St Johnstone.
The awards follow Aberdeen’s victory over Inverness Caley Thistle on penalties in the League Cup final.
