JIM LISTER opened the scoring for Bathgate in the 11th minute when he headed Iain Nicolson's flag kick into the bottom left hand corner. Lister added a second eight minutes from the break when the big striker calmly back-heeled Alex Lurinsky's cross in.

The visitors pulled a goal back three minutes after the break with a Darrin Wright header Their well-deserved equaliser came in the 61st minute. Thistle failed to clear a corner kick and Wright headed his second goal of the afternoon past the Thistle keeper.

ROSE opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Tommy Coyne notched his 12th goal of the season. Glenrothes equalised in the 34th minute through an angled drive by Lee Duffy, but Rose restored their lead three minutes before half-time thanks to a curling 20-yard strike by Mark Tyrell. Rose had to wait until injury time to secure the win when Roddy McLennan scrambled the ball in after a swift counter-attack.

A FIRED-UP Armadale produced a strong performance and the man of the match, Lee Johnstone, scored a show-stealing hat trick in the 31st, 56th and 80th minutes to put paid to Penicuik's hopes of retaining their unbeaten league record. Kenny Manson opened the scoring for Armadale in the 24th minute. Johnny Harvey scored for Penicuik in the 32nd minute.

ALASTAIR Foster gave Arniston the lead in the first half but Blairgowrie's Mark Christianson equalised midway through the second. Arniston had Mickael Opilka and David Morris sent off before Blairgowrie scored the winner from the penalty spot from Alan Cruikshank. Arniston then had Ross Godfrey and Gary Cennarazzo both sent off after the game.

BROXBURN took the lead in four minutes with a Johnny Wilson header but after that Livingston dominated the half scoring through Chris Caldwell in 27 minutes and Carlo Santi in the 37th minute. With Broxburn pressing in the second half Livingston broke away and Nicky Millar sealed the points with 15 minutes left. John Jeffrey added a late goal for Broxburn.

HADDINGTON had the clearest openings in the first half but were left to rue their inability to capitalise three minutes before the break. Their defence stood off as Pumpherston advanced and a ball played in from the left of goal was turned into his own net by Robert Greenaway. Haddington levelled with barely a minute played in the second half, Ryan Grant converting a superbly taken free kick from 25 yards.

DUNBAR'S opening goal on the hour was clearly offside but Chris Grant snapped up the gift with a shot. Ritchie Weir headed an own goal to put Tranent level ten minutes later. Then Sean Lally's header from Kenny Munro's free kick hit the net. Tranent's trialist tapped home a second goal before hard-working Robert Berry's header secured the points for Tranent.
