Falcons braced for tough test against Bury Comets

Falcons will be looking to take revent for a recent 99-77 defeat in Manchester at the British Team Championships but Comets currently lie second in the Northern table and are keen to put pressure on leaders Stockport. Edinburgh team manager Stevie Gilroy knows Edinburgh will have to be at their best to maintain an unbeaten home record and has made two changes from the side who lost in Manchester with Andy MacDougall and Gavin Kennedy brought in following impressive performances when guesting for Glasgow’s newly established side.

There is also a Combination League match between the sides (3.30). Edinburgh’s second string currently top their table on race points, while Bury are unbeaten in five matches.

The Redbraes Park circuit was flooded earlier this week but club officials are pulling out all the stops to get the fixtures played.
