Eriksson still committed to Notts County dream

SVEN-GORAN Eriksson admits Notts County's ambitious Premier League project is "on hold" following the club's change of ownership – but insists he remains committed to the Meadow Lane cause.

Eriksson was appointed director of football last summer by new owners Munto Finance but they have now left the club and County are seeking fresh investment to boost their move through the leagues.

Eriksson said: "It's on hold at the moment unfortunately, because things went bad. But hopefully in just a couple of weeks it'll take off again. That's our hope.

"I still believe it is possible but what we need is money. It's not easy if you want to reach the Premier League from where we are."
