Last year's third-placed finisher overall, Hall had made a solid start to the current campaign in the opening session seven days earlier.
And he boosted his points tally when he finished second to team-mate Bruce Croall – the defending champion – in the night's opening event over 12 laps.

Hide AdHowever, he had saved the best for the final race, a ten-kilometre scratch. Hall and Croall broke clear after a quarter of the race and worked together until the midway point when Hall raced away. And, despite a last-lap charge by Croall, Hall hung on to win.
In the youths events, Sean Hadden led a 1-2 for Edinburgh RC when he outsprinted Sean Noon in the youths' devil take the hindmost, and, for the second successive week, Louise Haston (City of Edinburgh) was the leading female performer.
