Cycling: Endura strengthen position at head of Halfords Tour

Endura Racing Team added a further honour to their growing list of successes with a win in last night’s penultimate race of the Halfords Tour Series in Woking.

Already leading in the overall standings, the West Lothian-based cycling outfit extended their advantage at the top with a success that featured three riders in the top five places.

Aussie Zak Dempster took the individual honours with a searing final sprint, while Ian Bibby and Johnny McEvoy were fourth and fifth respectively. The win means Endura cannot be caught and they will be looking to celebrate in style when the final race of this year’s competition takes place in Stoke on Trent tomorrow.
