The awards are designed as an incentive for some of the newer riders among the club’s 700 members with the aim of helping them to achieve their potential, as Cameron Stewart, Chief Executive of Field and Lawn Marquees explained. “We are keen to support the grass roots of cycling and to promote racing for beginners, giving them the launch pad into the sport. Cycling is also great for our health the environment,” he said.
Meanwhile, former Hibs physio Colin McLelland has renewed his backing for Edinburgh Road Club. Based at Easter Road, Back2Fitness has joined forces with bd bike coaching to offer cyclists a “one stop” hub for all their clinical, performance, technique and coaching needs.
