Curling: Colin Campbell out to win title

Edinburgh curler Colin Campbell had the Galbraith Trophy in his sights as the Aberdeen City Open was getting underway today.

Campbell will once again play ‘lead’ for Aberdeen skip David Edwards who tops the Scottish Curling Tour standings going into the final event of the season. The Trophy, plus prize money, will be theirs if they can stay ahead of Stranraer’s Frazer Hare and Forfar’s Murray Young this weekend.

Murrayfield’s Kerry Barr takes on the men at Curl Aberdeen after her fine recent performance at the Glynhill International in Glasgow, while Paul Stevenson will
also represent Edinburgh
as he returns to his native city.
