Curling: Colin aims to sweep up title

Edinburgh curler Colin Campbell hopes to help Aberdeen skip David Edwards recapture the Perth Masters title at the Dewars Centre this week.

Edwards was the Perth champion six years ago, and Campbell was playing the opening stones for him this morning against Moscow’s Alex Tselousov.

Murrayfield’s Ross Hepburn plays lead for Perth veteran David Smith against Switzerland’s Pascal Hess, while Edinburgh student Colin Dick is part of Jay McWilliam’s junior team facing Dutchman Mark Neeleman. Capital skip John Hamilton faces a tough opener against Canadian Brad Gushue.
