Cult hero: Sebastien Chabal
A MAN of many nicknames with an imposing physique, a ferocious hunger for victory and, er, a beard, Sebastien Chabal is the most popular rugby player in France and one of the most recognisable in the world.
His nickname 'caveman' may sum up his appearance but the French have another, which sends shivers down the spine ... the 'anaesthetist'. He made his international debut against Scotland in 2000 and is in the squad for Murrayfield on Sunday. However, critics remain unconvinced, saying he is not consistent enough for international rugby.
