Cricket: Gordon Goudie out with injury

SALTIRES coach Pete Steindl last night admitted he has lost a leader after Gordon Goudie was ruled out for two weeks with a back injury.

The Grange all-rounder will miss this Sunday’s YB40 clash with Essex and the ODI double header against Pakistan next week and Steindl revealed Goudie could be out for even longer.

The coach said: “We’re talking at least two weeks out. He has had a few niggles and has not had many overs under his belt so we need to get him strong.”
