Former Hibs, Rangers and Scotland goalkeeper Andy Goram will make a one-off return to cricket as he appears in a Scotland select XI next week, according to CricIndex.

The match will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Cricket Scotland (then known as Scottish Cricket Union) earning their first ever competitive win against Lancashire.

Goram will join some of the stars from that side as a select Scotland XI and Lancashire XI face off against each other to mark the anniversary.

Goram featured four times for the Scottish cricket side during his playing days as well as spells with Penicuik, West Lothian, Uddingston and Freuchie, all of which he undertook in addition to his, more lucrative, football career.
