Coutts: Jets yet to fire on all cylinders

City of Edinburgh women’s volleyball captain Mel Coutts has warned that Edinburgh Jets could still mount a title challenge this season.

“We played them early in the season and they were a bit disjointed but I got the impression that they were still getting their act together and would be a different team after playing a few matches,” Coutts said.

Coutts missed last weekend’s win over North Lanarkshire and returns for tomorrow’s Schelde Sports Scottish League match against Troon KC. Edinburgh Jets host South Ayrshire and NUVOC host leaders Troon PA.

In the men’s Scottish League, City of Edinburgh face Kilmarnock Blaze and Jets play South Ayrshire.
