The Capital side lost their 17-match unbeaten run to Kilmarnock Blaze last weekend but are already pretty much assured of top seeding for the play-offs. Mets and Blaze, who face each other on the final day later this month, are joint second behind Edinburgh with Bon Accord are just two points behind. Cup semi-finalists Edinburgh Jets host Blaze tomorrow knowing that they are now all but free from any relegation danger.
In the women’s first division, Troon PA lead City of Edinburgh on sets difference and they travel to Su Ragazzi. Edinburgh host North Lanarkshire and Edinburgh Jets host Troon KC knowing their play-off berth is secure. NUVOC can secure their top-flight status with a win at South Ayrshire tomorrow.
