Changing room chat: Shaquille’s game for a cage fight

BASKETBALL legend Shaquille O’Neal says he’s prepared to take on former baseball player Jose Canseco in a cage fight.

Canseco, 47, whose comeback bid in the Mexican baseball league stalled last week after he was banned for declining to take a drugs test, wants to make it a four-way mixed martial arts battle with former American footballer Herschel Walker and notorious ex-boxer Mike Tyson.

Canseco, who admitted using steroids in his Major League Baseball career, said he was advised against taking the doping test because of prescribed medicine he takes to produce testosterone. He lost his first MMA bout in 77 seconds against 7ft 2in South Korean Hong Man Choi in 2009.

But that hasn’t stopped the Cuban-born former Oakland Athletics star baiting four-time NBA champion O’Neal on Twitter.

“If he wants it done, he knows where to find me,” said 7ft 1in O’Neal, 40, “he can be high off whatever, and I’ll be high off Frosted Flakes.”

Canseco has suggested a four-man MMA tournament in Las Vegas titled “Beef Bash 1” featuring him O’Neal, Walker and Tyson.
