Carly Booth off to Korea flyer

CARLY Booth, looking for a strong finish to what has been a disappointing rookie season so far on the Ladies European Tour, made a promising start in the Daishin Securities Tomato M Korea European Ladies Masters.

The Comrie player shot a level-par 72 in Jeju to lie just two shots behind an eight-strong leading pack that included England's Melissa Reid.

A winner in Turkey earlier in the year, Reid made four birdies going out to take the outright lead at the turn.
