British team honours for Strathallan brothers

SKIING: Schoolboy brothers Fraser and Scott Buchan have had quite a season so far, which looks set to continue.

The skiers from Strathallan School have recently returned from Tignes in France where they were training with the British Children’s Ski Team.

The stint on snow will help them ahead of the European snow season over the winter.

The season kicked off for them when they won the Scottish Dry Slope Championships in their respective age categories at Hillend in August.

Shortly afterwards, at the British Mat Championships, Scott won his age-group and Fraser was runner-up in his.

Meanwhile, the Strathallan girls teams did well at the Scottish Schools Dry Slope Championships where Charlie Guest, Hope Whitelaw, Katie Guest and Lucy Garvie won the senior section.

Kirsty Guest, Amber Garvie, Jessica England and Pippa Wood also won the minor girls section.
