Lochend’s Taylor will be reunited in the ring with Domenico Valentino, the opponent who ended his Olympic medal hopes in London last summer in the second round of the lightweight category.
The 22-year-old narrowly lost his debut bout for the Lionhearts in Kazakhstan at the beginning of December but is confident he will have the better of Valentino this time around.

“I enjoy the different demands of World Series and think it suits my style. It’s less frantic than the Olympic format and the extra rounds means you have more time to settle into the bout.”
