Basketball: Make-shift Scots to face England

Scotland basketball coach Tom Campbell has named a make-shift team for the Challenge game with England before the BBL Play-Offs Final at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham on Saturday.

Danny Huffor, the Glasgow Rocks guard, whose mother is Scottish, will debut, joining two of his team-mates Garreth Murray and Jonny Bunyan and a previous Rocks player Scott Russell. (Falkirk Fury).

There are also three players from St Mirren and three Troon Tornadoes but, surprisingly, none from new Scottish Play-Offs champions Edinburgh Kings. Simon Flockhart, the Reilly brothers Lee and Craig were all unavailable.

Scotland: Jonny Bunyan, Danny Huffor, Gareth Murray (Scottish Rocks); Nic Collins, Dave Johnson, Colin Ralea (St Mirren), Ewan Campbell, Andy Pearson, Ifedade Thomas (Troon Tornadoes), Scottish Russell (Falkirk Fury), Martin Walmsley (Glasgow Storm), Ally Fraser (University of Maine).
