Basketball: Former Kings make up Scots GB contingent

Former Edinburgh Kings team-mates Ali McKay and Lee Reilly are among six Scots named in a Great Britain Under-20 men's squad of 19 training at Colchester this weekend in preparation for the European Division B tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia, from July 14 to 24.

The squad, who also include the Falkirk Fury pair Ali Fraser and Johnny Bunyan and two "unknown" Scottish players with unspecified connections, Keegan Dunlop and Alex Marcotullio, will play a Scotland Under-23 team in two warm-up games.

Four Scots, including former Edinburgh Kool Kats Becca Allison and Kathryn Taylor, have made the last 14 for the Great Britain women's under-20 team, who will also train at Colchester this weekend in the first combined camp.They are joined by Dee Hayward (Leeds Carnegie) and ex-Glasgow Rocks guard Erin McGarrachan. However, Sarah O'Brien (Edinburgh Kool Kats) misses out.

The GB U-20 women are in Division A in Novi Sad, Serbia from July 7-17.
