Basketball: Easy for Scots

Scotland’s cadet men opened with a 75-34 win over Andorra in the European C Basketball Championship in Gibraltar last night.

The Under-16 side, who were 35-9 up at half-time, were led by Edinburgh Kings trio Kieran McAdam with 11 points and six rebounds, Fraser Malcolm with eight points and 11 rebounds and Sam McArthur with eight points, including a perfect two from two from three-point range, while Malcolm Winning (Boroughmuir Blaze) scored ten points.
