Athletics: Murray improves to post new 10k best

Edinburgh's Freya Murray smashed her 10,000 metres personal best in the European Cup 10,000 metres in Marseilles to earn the qualifying time for the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.

The Durham-based Scot ran 32.23:44 to finish sixth behind Portugal's Ines Moneiro. However, her mark wasn't good enough to make this summer's European Championships in Barcelona.

Great Britain's Mo Farah won the men's race in 27.28:86.
