Hamilton or Ross County look set to be the top flight’s contenders playing off for their league status against either Dundee, Dunfermline or Raith Rovers – although 10th placed Kilmarnock’s participation is not quite ruled out either.

The two-legged tie has been confirmed for live television coverage on Sky Sports, with matches on May 20 and 24.

BBC Alba will show the other two play-off finals with dates to be decided – as well as the competitors - in the League One and Championship matches.

This week the SPFL also confirmed the pyramid play-off will take place this season after it was cancelled amidst the coronavirus closedown at the curtailed end of last season. It will see Brechin City face either Kelty Hearts or Brora Rangers for the right to play in League Two next season.
