MUSIC: HUNTER HAYES

American country artist Hunter Hayes is performing at the ABC in Glasgow as part of his Let’s Be Crazier tour.

The 22-year-old has already been nominated four times for a Grammy, won the Country Music Awards (CMA) New Artist of the Year, and is the youngest male to top the Billboard Hot Country sound chart, and is bringing that Southern charm here.

The world premier adaptation of Brave New World is making its debut at the King’s Theatre in Edinburgh.

Directed by James Dacre, find yourself transported into a world where people are always happy and getting what they want, and love and empathy have given way to lust and pleasure. The fabric of this community is threatened when Lenina learns the pain of love and rises up against the World State.

EXHIBITION: SALLY-ANN PROVAN: LA CURIEUSE FLEURISTE

Edinburgh-based milliner Sally-Ann Provan is putting on the first exhibition of her couture collection. Featuring photographs from Alistair Clark and film by Tao-Anas Le Thanh, the exhibition melds modern technologies with traditional techniques, creating transparent pieces from acrylic, resins and mother of pearl.
