Billed as “Scotland’s answer to 50 Shades of Grey,” Swung is about a polyamorous couple who are a part of Glasgow’s swinging scene.

Starring Downton Abbey’s Elizabeth McGovern, Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In) and Owen McDonnell (Saving the Titanic), Swung has been adapted for the big screen by Morrison and directed by Colin Kennedy.

The Scottish production tells the story of David (McDonnell) and Alice (Anaya) and their foray into a sexually-charged subculture. Their journey is fuelled by Alice’s need to find a suitable expose for the magazine she works with, and is guided by sexual free spirit Dolly (McGovern).

Anaya and McGovern have both received Best Actress nominations from Bafta Scotland for their performances.

Swung will be released in UK cinemas on 11 December.
