Scotland’s weather: Matches postponed due to heavy rain

MATCHES across Scotland have fallen foul of the weather with many of today’s fixtures being called off due to high winds and waterlogged pitches.

Following pitch inspections, the decision was taken to postpone Premiership matches at Celtic Park and Firhill.

Play at Tynecastle was cancelled due to high winds.

The weather also affected Championship matches due to take place today, as well as League One, League Two, Scottish Cup and Pro12 rugby ties.
