Luxembourg v Scotland: Andrew Shinnie drafted straight into starting line-up

INVERNESS midfielder Andrew Shinnie has been handed his Scotland debut in tonight’s friendly in Luxembourg after he was drafted into the squad on Sunday.

The former Rangers trainee, who has six Clydesdale Bank Premier League goals and five assists this season, was called up following nine call-offs at the weekend.

Caretaker manager Billy Stark has named both Kenny Miller and Jordan Rhodes in his starting line-up, suggesting he will break with sacked boss Craig Levein’s recent convention and employ a 4-4-2 formation.
