This weekend, all eyes will be on Glasgow as the Monster Energy Arenacross Tour sees two local boys compete at the SSE Hydro.

17-year-old Lewis and his 12-year-old brother Harris will be taking to the racing circuit at the Glasgow Arena, to compete in the Pro Lite and Supermini 85 classes.

The action will take place twice this weekend, at 7pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday, at the Hydro.

The first round at Manchester last Saturday night saw current champ Thomas Ramette set out his stall with an overall win and championship lead.

He was given a run for his money by fellow countryman Cedric Soubeyras and Brit Jack Brunell. The Pro riders will be all be going flat-out to rein in the Frenchmen and spectators can expect some fierce challenges from former Pro champs Fabien Izoird and Adam Chatfield as well as American hotshot Josh Hansen who will have something to prove.

Aside from racing, the programme includes radical Freestyle Motercross (FMX), where some of the best bikers in the world will showcase their breath-taking skills some fifty foot above the track. A set of jump-offs will determine who is the biggest bad boy of the air, prior to an insane and frenzied freestyle free-for-all, in which the competitors hit the purpose-built ramps in close succession to try and outdo each other with their tricks and back flips.
