Cumbernauld Road had been closed between Aberdour Street and Aberfeldy Street while police investigated. These restrictions have now been lifted.

A spokeswoman for Glasgow City Council said: “Unfortunately a pupil was involved in a road traffic incident outside the school this morning.

“The school is helping the police with their inquiries.”

An appeal has been put out for any witnesses to call Police Scotland on 101.
