A warrant was granted for Brown after Glasgow Sheriff Court heard he could not be traced.

Clerkin, from Barrhead, pled not guilty and a trial was set for July next year.

It is alleged they used abusive language towards Labour member Susan Dalgety and “gesticulated aggressively”.

It is claimed they told her they knew her name and entered the Labour offices in the city centre uninvited and “continued to shout and use abusive language”.
