Alan Solomons’ side face Zebre in Parma tomorrow afternoon (1.30pm UK time) hoping to continue their 100 per cent start to the season but have been forced into some alterations from last weekend’s win over Ulster.

Jack Cuthbert at full-back and Will Helu come in to replace the injured Greig Tonks and Chris Dean respectively.

There is just one change to the pack, with Rory Sutherland returning after the loosehead prop was a late call-up to the Scotland squad last week.

Edinburgh have enjoyed their best ever start to a league camppaign but are yet to register a bonus-point victory this season and are currently third in the standings.

Solomons said: “We’re pleased with where we are at the moment but are under no illusions about the task we face this weekend.

“It will be a tough match as the Italian sides are always a completely different challenge at home.

“Zebre will benefit from their returning Rugby World Cup players following Italy’s exit at the pool stages.”
