Richard Brittain made his was from Bedford to Glenrothes just to seek revenge on an 18-year-old girl who had criticised his book.

Paige Rolland was tracked down via Facebook and Brittain attacked her with a wine bottle to the head from behind, knocking her unconscious.

This attack came only a month after Brittain had stalked a university classmate from London all the way to Glasgow.

Scotland’s most exciting entrepreneurs under 30

Scotland is home to some of Britain’s most innovative and forward thinking entrepreneurs, who, through the aid of crowd funding, business loans and organisations like Entrepreneurial Spark, are able to make their dreams a reality.

One such is Josh Littlejohn, owner of the Social Bite cafe’s and the Scottish Business Awards - due to take place this week.

Social Bite owner and founder Josh Littlejohn took his inspiration from Nobel Peace Prize winner Mohammad Yunus and even went to visit the Professor before embarking on his own social enterprise.

David Tennant is Kilgrave in Jessica Jones

The new Marvel series will be released on Netflix next week, and Scot David Tennant has one of the leading roles - as the bad guy.

David grew up a Marvel fan so was already excited for the series. But when it came to the acting side, the depth of the character was fascinating to him.

David said: “From an acting point of view, that’s exciting because the characters are complicated and difficult, they exist in shades of grey, and that’s always more interesting to play.”

BMX Scot releases stunt film

Kriss Kyle has unveiled a unique stunt video performing never-before-seen tricks in a colourful environment of shifting platforms, curved rails and trampolines.

The Red Bull-produced Kaleidoscope project sees Kriss Kyle manoeuvre his bike across treacherous obstacles on ever-changing terrain.

The near five-minute clip, shot in Glasgow, combines Kyle’s extraordinary technique with depth-of-field tricks.
