Three men have been jailed for a total of more than 13 years for dealing drugs worth nearly £500,000.
Kurt D’Cruz, 28, and Gilbert MacLellan, 60, were both sentenced to five years at the High Court in Glasgow, while Darren McKelvie, 28, was jailed for 40 months.
The three men, all from Dundee, had previously pleaded guilty to dealing drugs.
The Crown Office said police carried out a raid on a house in Dundee having kept D’Cruz and MacLennan under surveillance in April 2017.
They found MacLellan and McKelvie in the house and D’Cruz trying to climb out of the kitchen window.
Officers found cocaine with a street value of £400,000, and £60,000 of cannabis and cannabis resin in the house. They also discovered more of the drugs in D’Cruz’s home, taking the total value to more than £470,000.
Nicky Patrick, procurator fiscal for homicide and major crime, said: “These men were preparing significant quantities of harmful drugs for onward sale.
“As well as having the potential to cause significant harm, sale of illegal drugs funds serious organised crime in Scotland.”
