Common Ridings documented in new photobook

A NEW photobook capturing the customs and traditions of the Common Riding festivals in Scottish Borders has been released.

Published last month, Unsullied And Untarnished by Jeremy Sutton-Hibbert contains 58 photographs and features a foreword by esteemed Glasgow-born photojournalist Harry Benson CBE, as well as an essay by political commentator Alex Massie.

Unsullied And Untarnished is available from Sutton-Hibbert’s website and the book’s images are on show in Document Scotland’s The Ties That Bind exhibition at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh until April 2016.
