“As a result of this activity, around 500 cannabis plants with an estimated value of £360,000 were recovered from within [the property] along with various pieces of growing equipment.”

The drugs bust comes almost exactly a year after police seized 2,000 cannabis plants, worth £700,000 to £1.8million, from the town’s derelict Queen’s Head pub on October 28, 2014. Four men were arrested and charged.
