Weir is currently working with Mark Warburton at Brentford, but both are set to leave their roles at the English Championship side in the summer. The Scottish Sun are reporting that the former Everton and Rangers defender’s next role could be as coach of the Scottish Championship side, and Mark Warburton could also be set to join him.

Weir is currently the latest in a long list of candidates linked with the club including Billy Davies, Terry Butcher and Stuart McCall.
