Commonwealth Compass at Glasgow Green unveiled
Pupils Andrew James Pringle, Amal Hamid, Kye Colligan, Elif Tas, Orit Nesredin and Preston Burke from St Francis Primary School’s eco group, at the unveiling by Glasgow Tree Lovers’ Society of the Commonwealth Compass at Glasgow Green.
The National Lottery-funded area, in the shape of a compass, is made up of shrubs and trees native to different Commonwealth countries. The lottery provided £10,000 for the project.
