Adele announces two Glasgow dates on upcoming world tour

British singer-songwriter Adele has announced the dates of her 2016 international tour – including two nights at Glasgow’s SECC.
"Hello Scotland, it's me.""Hello Scotland, it's me."

This will be the first time that Adele will be performing a string of live shows in four years, having taken a leave of absence from the public eye following the birth of her son.

Since then, the Tottenham-born artist released her highly anticipated third album 25 and the reaction to her singles ‘Hello’ and ‘When We Were Young’ suggests that the Grammy-award winner has been sorely missed.

Adele shared the news via Twitter, posting a video in which she explained she had “been bluffing this whole time.”

“I am so relieved to finally tell you that I am, of course, coming on tour and I can’t wait to see all of you there”

The European tour sees her take in a number of dates across Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and France. As well as far-flung tour destinations, the 25-year-old will also be performing across the UK - including two nights at Glasgow’s SECC on Mar 25-26.

Tickets are set to go on sale on December 4 and all live dates can be found at live.adele.com.
