Thief caught stealing charity tin from bar
The elderly suspect was looking around the bar for witnesses before he snatched the collection tin and then escaped by hiding it in his jacket.
Pub chiefs have since branded the theft “absolutely disgusting” and released CCTV in a bid to catch the man who was wearing a flatcap and glasses.

Police have been informed of the theft, which happened at Wagley’s Bar at around 9.40pm on Sunday night.
Phil Farquhar, owner of the pub, said he was “disgusted” by the theft and vowed to reimburse the charity for the money lost.
He added: “I noticed it was missing first thing the next morning and told the police straight away.
“We are in the city centre but we’re still a real community pub. We have a lot of regulars but I’ve never noticed this guy before.
“It’s absolutely disgusting - what’s even worse is that it’s an older guy rather than some desperate drug addict or something.
