You might think this is a scene from the lush, greenlands of America as a herd of stallions gallop over the horizon, but this video was captured as crowds gathered to watch as the massive herd was moved on UK moorland.
Dawn Westcott, 52, captured the crossing on film and said some people in the crowd were brought to tears by the sight.
The video was captured as the massive herd of around 100 ponies travelled across Brendon Common, passing through Lancombe Crossing in Exmoor, Devon.
Dawn, co-founder of the Exmoor Pony Project, said: “Brendon Common is one of the largest and wildest moorlands of Exmoor National Park.
“The ponies are truly semi-feral and have to be tough and robust to survive and thrive in the challenging conditions and terrain.
“The video shows the Tippbarlake Exmoor pony herd which is the largest Exmoor pony herd in the world.”
