Pizza Hut has launched a new stuffed crust pizza with a difference

When it comes to veganism, fast food chains have really caught on, with plant-based options now available at Greggs, KFC and McDonalds.

Now adding to its vegan menu, Pizza Hut has launched a vegan stuffed crust pizza. It follows the success of the chain's vegan pepperoni pizza, The Pepperphoni, launched in January, with nearly 40,000 vegan pizzas sold in the first month.

The stuffed crust is celebrating its 25th birthday this year - and now vegans can join in on the action.

Partnership with vegan cheese company

The pizza company has worked with Violife – a vegan faux cheese company – to include the perfect gooey, oozy dairy-free cheese as an option for the restaurant’s signature stuffed crust pizza. This new option is available across the UK now, and can be ordered to dine-in or as a takeaway option.

Pizza Hut’s vegan options are available to dine in and take out at every restaurant in England, Scotland and Wales, and for delivery from selected Pizza Hut restaurants on Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

Ciara Grace, Senior Menu Innovation Manager at Pizza Hut Restaurants, commented on the launch, saying, “We’re always looking into new and exciting ways to develop our menu and cater to as many guests as possible. The Vegan Stuffed Crust was naturally the next step for us to grow our plant-based offering at Pizza Hut Restaurants."

#GetStuffedCrust

To celebrate the new vegan offering and Pizza Hut’s 25 years of stuffed crusts, guests will be automatically entered into a competition to win a £100 gift card.

All you have to do is post a stuffed crust pizza photo to Instagram, using the hashtag #GetStuffedCrust and tagging @PizzaHutUK.
