An eight year old boy who reviews toys is the highest-earning YouTube star, making a staggering £17.2 million ($22m) in the last year.
Ryan, from Ryan ToysReview, beat a host of famous YouTubers (including Jake and Logan Paul and PewDiePie) to top the list compiled by Forbes.
The American school boy – whose videos show him opening toys and then playing with them – has racked up 26 billion views and 17.3 million followers since launching his channel in March 2015.
The young mogul made the hefty sum for his online reviews between June 2017 and June 2018.
Ryan told NBC News he credits his success with being “entertaining” and “funny”.
His parents do not disclose his last name or the city they live in.
The other top YouTube earners
Controversial YouTuber Jake Paul, whose videos were viewed more than 3.5 billion times over the same 12 month period, was second on Forbes’ list, with £16.8 million.
Five man sports crew Dude Perfect made £15.7 million and Daniel Middleton, who specialises in the popular Minecraft game, came fourth on the list, bringing in £14.5 million.
Completing the top five was make-up artist Jeffree Star, who earned £14.1 million.
Forbes measured pre-tax earnings from 1 June 2017 to 1 June 2018, without fees for agents, managers and lawyers being deducted.
