Do you think your family could be one of Britain’s brainiest? Now is your chance to prove it.
The BBC are on the lookout for some of the country’s most intelligent families for an exciting new competition – and applications are open now.
Battle of the brains
The new show – currently titled ‘The BBC Family Competition’ – will follow families as they go head-to-head in a battle to find out which of them have the best brains.
“As individuals you don’t have to be good at everything, but as a family team will you have what it takes to win?” Said a spokesperson for the series.
“This BBC competition is about all aspects of intelligence – logic, reasoning, memory, strategy, creativity and so much more.
“It is a warm-hearted show, which will celebrate incredible teams and explore their family dynamic as they work together to take on a series of highly compelling challenges, puzzles and gameplay.
“It’s not about what is in your brain – but how you use it.”
Who can take part?
To compete, family members must be nine years of age and over.
Family teams must include two players aged 18 years and above, as well as two players aged between 9 and 17 years.
Parents and children can apply together, but all combinations of family groups are encouraged, including aunties, uncles, grandparents, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews – everyone is welcome.
