This flexible Glasgow-based role is calling for someone who is used to a hands-on role and happy to carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance duties.

You'll be doing everything from grass cutting and flower bed maintenance to litter picking and street sweeping.

Forest Craftsperson, Forestry Commission, Lairg (£19,995-£21,175)

Anyone with previous forest management experience would be ideal for this position, located in the Highlands.

The job involves undertaking inspections of the forest space, operating machinery and carrying out repairs when necessary.

Seasonal passenger boat crew, Anstruther Pleasure Cruises, Anstruther

If you're looking for temporary part-time work in the great outdoors, Anstruther Pleasure Cruises are currently on the hunt for crew members to work passenger trips from Anstruther to the Isle of May.

Previous experience working on boats is desired but not essential, as training will be given.

Lovers of sealife will jump at the chance to aid in the conservation of marine wildlife at the Voluntary Marine Reserve in Berwickshire.

The hands-on role will involve surveying and recording marine life, data collection and raising awareness of the reserve.
